Reporting To: Vice President & General Manager – North & West Africa
Role Purpose:
This is a dual-role position designed to provide high-quality business analytics, strategic support,
and executive assistance to the Vice President & General Manager. The incumbent will act as a
trusted business partner—translating data into insights, driving governance and follow-up across
regional teams, and ensuring seamless coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The
role demands strong analytical thinking, fluency in English and French, excellent communication,
and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Analytics & Performance Tracking
• Develop, manage, and automate business performance dashboards using tools such as Tableau,
Power BI, or Excel.
• Analyze sales, financial, and market data to generate insights and identify opportunities for growth
and efficiency.
• Support strategic projects by providing data-driven recommendations, forecasts, and performance
scorecards.
• Partner with commercial, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure accuracy and consistency in
reporting.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly business review presentations for the Regional Leadership Team
and Global HQ.
2. Executive Support & Governance
• Manage and coordinate the VP/GM’s calendar, appointments, and travel schedules effectively.
• Prepare and review PowerPoint presentations, reports, and communication materials for internal
and external meetings.
• Track follow-up actions from governance meetings, ensuring timely closure and alignment with
key stakeholders.
• Handle confidential and strategic communications with discretion and professionalism.
• Support the VP/GM in organizing regional governance forums, leadership meetings, and
cross-functional reviews.
3. Strategic Coordination & Collaboration
• Serve as a key liaison between the VP/GM and regional/global functional heads (Finance, HR,
Marketing, Operations, Regulatory, etc.).
• Coordinate with country offices (Morocco, Algeria, Ghana, Egypt, and FWA) to consolidate inputs
and prepare executive summaries.
• Enable smooth communication flow and ensure timely submissions, alignment, and accountability
across teams.
• Support preparation of strategic documents, PMO trackers, and dashboards for One Africa and
Beyond initiatives.
4. Communication & Stakeholder Management
• Draft and edit high-impact emails, briefs, speeches, and presentations in English and French.
• Facilitate effective communication between the VP/GM’s office and internal/external stakeholders
including regulators, partners, and affiliates.
• Represent the VP/GM’s office professionally in meetings and events when required.
• Maintain a strong sense of confidentiality, diplomacy, and cultural sensitivity.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Technical: Advanced Excel, Tableau/Power BI, MS PowerPoint, and data visualization tools
Analytical: Business acumen, quantitative reasoning, problem-solving, and interpretation of trends
Communication: Excellent verbal & written communication in English and French
Organizational: Calendar, project, and time management with strong attention to detail
Interpersonal: Cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder alignment, and executive presence
Behavioral: Proactive, resourceful, high integrity, and ability to manage ambiguity
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred. 5–8
years of relevant experience in business analysis, executive support, or strategic planning,
preferably within a multinational or FMCG/pharma organization. Proven experience working with
senior leadership and managing confidential information. Strong fluency in English and French
(spoken and written) is mandatory. Experience in African markets or regional/multi-country roles is
an added advantage.
