Responsibilities/ Accountabilities

  • Assist in conducting research and gathering data related to environmental and occupational health and safety issues
  • Collect Powder Safety Data to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is available to all relevant parties
  • Provide SDS gap assessment for the Cipla facilities
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify, evaluate, and control hazards
  • Work with cross functional teams to gather environment data for monthly reporting
  • Collaborating with vendors, maintaining log of inspection and services, ensuring timely release of payments.

 

 

Education Qualifications

  •  BS degree in Chemical Engineering (Preferred)

 

Experience

  • 0 - 2 year

 

Skills/ Competencies

  •  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university with preference in chemical engineering
  • Previous pharmaceutical experience working in the EHS department preferred
  • Minimum of (0-2) years of progressive responsibility implementing safety and health programs in a manufacturing environment
  • Have excellent organization, learning skills required to work in teams.
  • Strong focus on safety and a desire towards continuous improvement and risk mitigation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • Must have a strong coherent command of the English language, written and verbal as a first or second language
  • Proficiently communicate and understand (read and write) scientific / regulatory based ‘work” in English
  • Must possess excellent presentation skills, strong documentation, and technical writing skills, and able to apply relevant scientific principles and practices
  • Must be able to quickly learn and grasp the business needs and requirements
  • Must be proactive
  • Must be able to work under general supervision with an orientation towards both tactical and strategic execution
