Job Purpose

To lead and manage the instrumentation and calibration function across the unit, ensuring optimal operation, maintenance, compliance, and continuous improvement of automation systems, calibration processes, and engineering support in alignment with GMP, QMS, EHS, and EnMS standards.

Key Accountabilities (1/6)

Instrumentation & Automation Management

  • Execute preventive and breakdown maintenance of DCS, PLC, SCADA, CCTV, EPABX, and other automation systems.
  • Plan and implement automation projects and modifications
  • Monitor MTBF & MTTR and ensure minimal downtime.

Calibration Excellence.

  • Prepare cost estimates and track project timelines.

  • Implement GMP, QMS, and EHS standards.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and CAPA for non-conformances.
  • Maintain audit readiness and timely closure of deviations.

  • Maintain critical spares and optimize inventory.
  • Prepare and monitor OPEX/CAPEX budgets.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through vendor development.

  • Ensuring calibration compliance across diverse instruments.
