Job Purpose

To lead and manage the Civil function across the unit, to monitor and carry out maintenance of all buildings and outside areas. To plan, maintain and review planned preventive maintenance of All Buildings, Pipe Racks and Drains. 

• Direct installation, Renovations, modifications of areas and other features.
• To provide quality service system such as, civil maintenance and Painting.
• To maintain and Update Civil maintenance system.
• To review and update all engineering SOPs and other related documents along with quality assurance.
• Collaborates in the planning of new facilities and equipment or their replacement.
• Administrate expenditure controls and estimate construction costs.
• Prepare work authorization

Key Accountabilities (1/6)

• Develop plant layout and prepare plans for facilities and requirements.
• Estimates costs of designed facilities.
• To ensure that the all safety norms followed by the contractors at the time of civil work.
• To approve the instructions relating to engineering operations and to ensure their strict implementation.
• To attend the civil related breakdown on time to have less impact on quality of product.
• Inspection of material received at engineering stores and approving the same and maintain the required inventory level for all civil maintenance and consumables like Door Hardware's etc. Follow up with the purchase department and supplier to get the required material in time.
• Ensuring to meet the timelines for the completion of critical assignments related to project, modification and Safety Compliance.
• Ensuring on-line bill processing against the availed services for the timely payment to vendor.
• Co-ordinating with concerned department in charges and heads for timely execution of engineering activities. Tracking to be done for all the activities as per plan.
