Job Purpose
To ensure the plant’s operational continuity by managing preventive and corrective maintenance, overseeing facility upgrades and support EHS initiatives. To provide uninterrupted and quality services to associates in line with Site and corporate protocol and laid down Safety Norms. To be proactive to avoid any breakdown, Ensuring proper Utilisation of available infrastructure, modification, and upgradation of infrastructure as per the requirement.
Effective coordination with Engineering team for modification, repairs, and maintenance of workplace areas like Admin Office bldg., conference/meeting rooms, cafeteria, common areas, Residential colony, and Guest house for Civil, Electrical, Air-conditioning, plumbing, carpentry related works, etc. Legal compliance, Statutory Billing, R&M Billing, Budgeting. Modification /upgradation of facility WRT Safety and Energy Saving.
Key Accountabilities (1/4)
1. Project Management
- Responsible for Infra, Operations and maintenance of offices, common areas, residential colony and Guest house.
- Co-ordination with the vendors for timely execution of the projects without compromising on the quality and EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) aspects of the same.
- Provide administrative support, as needed including processing work orders, invoice processing and tracking of engineering, preventive maintenance, and safety records
- Vendor and material finalization
- Raising request for PR/ CER in line with central Admin team
- Preparation of BOQ
- Project execution (From Layout to Project closure)
2. Facilities Management & Equipment and systems oversight
- Manage day-to-day operations of all three units, including maintenance, safety and compliance with GMP standards
- Ensure the site’s infrastructure, including Civil, Interior, Electrical, UPS and Batteries, EPBAX, HVAC system, CCTV, Fire Alarm, DG are functioning optimally

3. Budget Preparation
- Preparation of Opex and capex financial year Budget. To ensure expenses does not exceed the budgeted cost in throughout year.
- Implementing best business practices which improves efficiency and reduce operating costs.
4. R & M (AMC/ RC Renewal)
- Renewal of all the Annual Maintenance Contracts / RCs as due.
- Tracking of maintenance activities on daily / weekly/ monthly basis.
- Development of New vendors and review of the AMC scope as per the requirement of Facilities.
- Preparation of MIS data and share with central team. Review and auditing to improve risk management and cost efficiencies

5. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment calibration, compliance documentation.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on the status of site operations, maintenance activities and project progress.
- Ensure all documentation is up to date and readily accessible for audits.

6. Team Management
- Supervise and mentor a team of technicians and engineers for all 3 units.
- LMS training learning by online and classroom training sessions.
- Motivation of subordinates regularly to get the maximum output and efficiency.
Major Challenges
As the facility infrastructures are too old due to aging of the equipment’s breakdowns are increases, so need to be proactive for repairing/replacement/upgradation.

Education Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree (Mechanical, Electrical or related field)
- Master’s degree or specialized certification in HVAC system design and maintenance or equivalent
Relevant Work Experience
Must have 5-7 years’ experience in technical operations, Strong knowledge of GMP, regulatory compliance, HVAC systems, building management systems. Good negotiation and interpersonal skills
