Job Purpose

Senior Data Scientist- Formulation heads the Formulation Data science team in the manufacturing function. The incumbent is responsible for leading and overseeing the development and implementation of data-driven solutions to complex business problems. Their role is to support Operations Strategy Pegasus / Falcon by providing advanced analytics solutions. 

Accountabilities

.

1. Advanced Analytics Use Cases: Sustain and drive adoption of data-driven use cases under program Pegasus.
2. Stakeholder Engagement: Connect with manufacturing stakeholders to identify business problems solvable with data and develop solutions.
3. Data Science Governance: Document processes, define KPIs, and manage governance for data science projects.
4. Model Development and Standardization: Streamline ETL processes, benchmark new technologies, and standardize model building using Cip Library.
5. Technological Support: Provide expertise in scripting (Python, SQL), ML algorithms, cloud tech (Data Bricks, Azure), and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau). Coach the team, improve model output, and focus on model validation maturity. Stay informed through research papers.

Education Qualification

B.Tech/B.E-Computer

Relevant Work Experience

• 5+ years of experience in data science / data engineering.
• Experience with a variety of data science tools and technologies.
• Strong understanding of data modelling and machine learning concepts.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to extract, compile and analyse data.
• Strong project management skills, managing multiple team members with or without direct reporting/ authority.
• Ability to summarize and make crisp presentations that are Senior management ready.
• Ability to work under pressure, anticipate potential problems and diagnoses, evaluate and resolve problems as they happen in-order-to meet process performance objectives & deadlines.
• Curiosity to explore the best probable solutions in a quick manner.
