Job Purpose
Accountable for controllership & Financials for North America.
Key Accountabilities (1/6)
1) Accounts Controlling, Monthly closing & Cash Flow Management
- Month End, Quarterly, Yearly finance controlling activities.
- Financials preparation as per Ind AS.
- Consolidated Financials preparation.
- Intercompany reconciliation and payment.
- Preparation of yearly and quarterly cash flow.
Key Accountabilities (2/6)
2) Inventory Management
- Preparation of Monthly Inventory report.
- Monthly closing of inventory and ensuring valuation is done as per accounting polices (NRV, Stock Expiry etc).
- Monitoring Inventory ageing and highlighting the same to the business.
- Working with business team on short-dated inventory management.
- Regular review of GRIR.
Key Accountabilities (3/6)
3)Tax, Transfer pricing Management and intercompany compliance
- Completion of Tax submission files, to enable timely filing of Advance tax and Tax returns.
- Regular review of Transfer pricing between intercompany to manage the outcome of Transfer pricing P&L.
- Control checks around Intercompany transactions, timely pre-checks for omnibus approvals.
Key Accountabilities (4/6)
4) Management P&L
- Timely submission of Financials inputs for Management P&L.
- Regular review of Sales & COGS reports, highlighting and resolving issues.

5) Audit
- Timely Statutory and Internal Audit with zero repeat observations
Key Accountabilities (6/6)
6) Ind AS Compliance
- Ind As Compliance review for Financials and agreements like business & Lease etc.
Overall control, governance aspects for Ind AS and Taxation for US legal entities.
Major Challenges
- Deal with multiple internal customers like corporate finance India, Costing team, BU Finance, GSS team, SCM team and Manufacturing team.
- Deal with multiple stakeholder (USA Finance team, UPS team, BYD, Cipla IT, SCM, and Corporate Team) and meeting their requirement as per timeline.
- Working in different time zones and working culture.
Dimensions
- Managing governance of US legal Entity.
- Inventory related expertise to manage inventory.
Education Qualification
Qualified Chartered accountant / Cost Accountant / Certified Public Accountant.
Relevant Work Experience
3-5 years of work expereince with minimum 1-2 years of experience in pharma industry.
Working expert knowledge in Excel, SAP, Concur and banking systems.
