Job Purpose
The IT Business Partner - SCM is responsible for the development, product lifecycle management and support of Supply Chain applications globally covering Demand/Planning/Procurement processes.
Key Accountabilities (1/4)
1.Application design, build and delivery
- Ensure in-depth technical understanding of SCM solutions, applications, and end to end business processes so as to have the capability to propose system changes, process transformations in line with the evolving business requirements.
- Evaluate new technologies, propose innovative solutions to deliver business objectives.
- Propose, Design and Manage support models, ensure delivery of aligned SLAs for Incident, Change, Request Management for the delivered solutions working with partners.
Key Accountabilities (2/4)
2.Engage with stakeholders
- Multi-Functional teams across regions e.g. Commercial teams, SCM Teams, Continuous Improvement etc. and IT Business Partners and other IT Verticals.
- Regional Business Teams: Demand/Planning/Procurement digital transformation initiatives from technology/data perspective
- Work with Solutions, SCM teams to build a Data strategy to ensure we have comprehensive visibility of all SCM and Procurement processes and leverage the data to personalize future interactions, improve our ROI.
Key Accountabilities (3/4)
3.Strategy & Planning
- Understand current application landscape transformation, define Roadmap of enterprise applications needed to have best in class Demand/Supply/ Procurement processes across the globe.
- Determine opportunities to implement / scale applications across regions where there are similar business processes.
- Build business cases for implementation of tactical solutions where necessary keeping in mind the future Roadmap.
- Secure budgets, resources and align timelines collaborating strongly with multi-functional teams across Cipla

4. Project management & Execution
- Track committed project timelines, milestones, budgets, scope deliverables and business outcomes.
- Ensure that key performance indicators, success criteria are aligned with the desired outcomes.
Major Challenges
Scaling up solutions across regions – which will also need standardization / transformation of business processes.
Driving Data standards and ensuring aggregation of Customer/Doctor data in our Data Lake – Which is a precursor to delivering Insights, driving Analytics.

Education Qualification
Engineering and Post Graduate Degree / Diploma.
Relevant Work Experience
10+ years of work experience across various technology platforms.
Experience with SCM/CRM/Demand Planning/SupplyPlanning/ Procurement solutions like Ariba, SAP-IBP, Forecast algoritms preferably in Pharma domain.
