🎯 Job Purpose

The Production Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth, efficient, and compliant manufacturing and packaging of pharmaceutical products. This role balances operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and team leadership

📌 Accountabilities

Management & Organization

• Lead and supervise production supervisors and operators.
• Participate on defining and monitor production schedules in line with deadlines.
• Ensure coordination with other departments (Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse).
• Drive corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA).

Production & Process

• Oversee the manufacturing of Aerosol dosage forms and packaging activities in compliance with GMP and HSE rules.
• Review and approve production documentation (batch records, SOPs, logbooks).
• Participate in equipment qualification and process validation.
• Propose technical improvements to optimize methods and processes.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Perform in-process controls (weight, crimp parameters, etc.).
• Collect and transfer samples to the Quality Control department.
• Monitor quality performance indicators (non-conformities, OOS, analysis lead times).

Maintenance & Logistics

• Prepare and ensure readiness of production equipment according to planning.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of equipment and facilities.
• Coordinate with Maintenance during interventions.
• Monitor storage of raw materials, packaging components, and finished products, in synergy with warehouse department.

Team Development

• Train and support production supervisors/operators.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Foster teamwork and accountability through clear objectives.

Qualification and Relevant Experience

• A Pharmacy Degree
• 2 - 5 years’ experience in a Production role, covering all areas of the function
• Own regulatory intelligence, gap closures, and compliance
