Job Purpose

 

 

As a Storekeeper, you will be responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials including raw materials, packaging materials, finished products, consumables, and miscellaneous items. You will ensure inventory accuracy, maintain store organization according to GMP standards, and coordinate deliveries to customers efficiently.

Major Activities / Tasks

Material Receipt

  • Receive all material types from suppliers (RM, FP, PM, spare parts, consumables, miscellaneous).

Inventory Management

  • Manage inventory levels and maintain stock accuracy.

Store Maintenance

  • Keep stores clean, organized, and stocked according to GMP standards.

Coordination with Purchasing

  • Maintain stock levels by coordinating with the purchasing team.

Distribution & Delivery

  • Prepare and execute deliveries of finished products to customers.

Free of Charge (FOC) Products

  • Prepare and dispatch FOC products as required.

 

Major Challenges

 

  • Ensuring accurate and timely receipt and storage of diverse material types.
  • Maintaining store organization and compliance with GMP.
  • Coordinating effectively with purchasing and delivery teams to maintain stock levels.
  • Managing timely and accurate dispatch of finished products and FOC items.

Skills & Knowledge  

Educational qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or equivalent.

Relevant experience:

 

  • Above 4 years of experience in store management.

  • Knowledge of store management principles.

  • Strong team spirit and relational skills.
  • Analytical and synthetic thinking.
