Job Purpose
Support the execution of preventive and breakdown maintenance activities for engineering equipment and utilities in the plant, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and compliance with cGMP standards
Key Accountabilities (1/6)
Support Preventive Maintenance Activities
- Assist in executing preventive maintenance tasks as per schedule under supervision.
- Prepare tools and materials required for maintenance.
- Ensure proper cleaning and basic upkeep of equipment.

Breakdown Maintenance Assistance
- Respond promptly to breakdown calls. Support the engineering team in troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of tools

Documentation & Compliance
Fill out maintenance logs and checklists accurately. Ensure timely and error-free documentation in line with cGMP and safety standards

Safety & Housekeeping
- Follow safety protocols during maintenance activities. Use PPE appropriately.
- Report any unsafe conditions or near-miss incidents.
- Maintain cleanliness in the engineering block.

Material Handling & Inventory Support
- Assist in issuing and receiving spares and consumables.
- Help maintain inventory records and track usage.

- Adapting to varied maintenance tasks across different equipment types.
- Ensuring compliance with documentation and safety standards under time constraints.
- Supporting maintenance activities during high production load or equipment unavailability

Education Qualification
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering
Relevant Work Experience
0–2 years in engineering maintenance, preferably in Pharma/API industry
- Basic understanding of mechanical/electrical systems
- Awareness of cGMP and safety practices
- Willingness to work in shifts and learn continuously
