Job Purpose
To lead and supervise packing operations during assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to production targets, cGMP, safety, and documentation standards. Acts as the first line of escalation for operational issues and ensures smooth coordination between teams and shifts
Key Accountabilities (1/6)
Shift Execution & Supervision
- Lead shift-wise packing operations to meet daily production targets.
- Allocate manpower and resources efficiently across lines.
- Monitor machine performance and minimize micro-stoppages.
Key Accountabilities (2/6)
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure adherence to cGMP, SOPs, and safety norms.
- Review and verify online documentation (BPR, logbooks, etc.).
- Ensure timely and accurate entries in SAP, CipDox.

Coordination & Communication
- Act as the point of contact for QA, Engineering, and Stores during the shift.
- Escalate deviations, breakdowns, or material shortages to Section Head.
- Ensure smooth handover between shifts

Training & Development
- Train officers and contract staff on equipment handling, safety, and documentation.
- Conduct on-the-job coaching to reduce errors and improve productivity
Key Accountabilities (5/6)
Continuous Improvement
- Identify and implement process simplification opportunities.
- Participate in SMED, Kaizen, and Jaagruti initiatives.
- Suggest improvements in packing material usage and machine efficiency

- Meeting shift target due to unavailability of adequate resources. Overcome by efficient work load distribution
- Maintaining cGMP requirements during system downtime.
- Overcome by coordinating with engineering and technical support team

Education Qualification
B. Pharm. / B. Sc. (Chemistry)
Relevant Work Experience
- 3–6 years in packing operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong understanding of cGMP, QMS, and safety standards
- Proficiency in SAP, CipDox, and packing line equipment
- Leadership and team coordination
