Salary: $115K - $135K

The Channel Operations, Senior Manager role manages inventory and stocking across Cipla’s Institutional Business Unit (BU) trade networks to ensure product availability and alignment. The position requires building and maintaining relationships with trade partners, leveraging data analytics to optimize inventory, and ensuring compliance with EDI 852 standards. Key responsibilities include overseeing order management, enhancing customer service, and ensuring product accessibility to GPOs, IDNs, and institutions. The role demands proficiency in SAP and ERP systems, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to improve processes and address supply chain issues.

 

Manage inventory and stocking across trade networks

  • Ensure inventory alignment and stocking across all trade networks for Cipla’s Institutional BU ensuring product(s) are unrestricted and available to support current and future customer demand.
  • Work with Cipla’s trade partners to address slow moving inventory, remediate and prevent product return/morgue.

Institutional trade channel – build relation with accounts and leverage analytics-driven data insights to optimize channel inventory

  • Builds relationships with all Trade accounts and stakeholders, including Trade Operations; interfaces with key customers to understand their needs, perspective, and issues.
  • Through analytics-driven data, track and monitor channel inventory identifying sales trends, omits, forecasted units, DOH, etc. for Cipla’s Institutional trade channel.

Commercial operations - ensure product availability at all times through planning and data analytics while being compliant (EDI 852)

  • In concert with product forecast, sales trends, sales/customer input and supply chain propose monthly allocations for the Institutional products and customers; always maximizing availability of product(s) to ensure customer access while minimizing Cipla’s risk for product short dating.
  • Oversee and ensure successful EDI 852 data integrity into Cipla’s systems and adequate dissemination of reports.
  • Enhance the Customer Service experience through timely order fulfillments/releases, fast turnaround on account creations, etc.
  • Partner with Customer Service (internal & external) to oversee the Institutional BU order management process, ensuring uninterrupted order fulfillment, including but not limited to management of product allocation, order releases, and tracking key metrics (MABD, internal turn time, etc.).
  • Ownership of all new customer account creations for the Institutional BU within Cipla’s internal systems, monitoring progress, while working to enhance turn time.
  • Ensure accessibility of products to GPO, IDNs, Institutions through effective partnership and relationship with trading partners.
  • Ensure the Institutional BU products are accessible to all contracted GPO Members, IDNs, and hospitals and affiliates.
  • Partner with Wholesaler & Distributor Teams to develop and build Cipla’s relationship with these teams, fostering collaboration to drive efficiencies with our trading partners.

Brief Requirements:

  • Proficient in SAP and ERP systems.
  • Expertise in managing customer orders and identifying kinks in the supply chain.
  • Proven ability to improve processes and ensure there are no gaps in the order flow.
  • Experience with a start-up managing the end-to-end product/customer flow.
  • Developed processes for order processing, covering the full lifecycle of the order.
  • Accountable to customers for ensuring orders are fulfilled.
  • Skilled in identifying where the process gets stuck and rectifying issues.
  • Ensures orders are delivered and investigates any hold-ups after release.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address backups and delays.
