IPD Operational Excellence

Job Purpose

Execute robust sustainable processes  to improve efficiency of IPD engine to get products to market faster in order to improve quality of products developed

Key Accountabilities (1/6)

Implement new processes for IPD by  implementing ideas in order to improve efficiency across IPD

  • Identify the area of improvement in IPD on shop floor
  • Analyse the current issues within IPD with the help of existing data
  • Conduct Idea generation workshop and identify feasible ideas for implementation
  • Prepare proposed process by generated ideas
  • Facilitate aspiration setting workshop  and help departments to set aspiration
  • Prepare guidance document in order to smooth roll out of process

Key Accountabilities (2/6)

Monitor sustenance of rolled out processes & implement ideas to ensure continuous improvement

  • Identify issues impending performance
  • Track progress of rolled out process and implemented  ideas of assigned function
  • Attend cascade review meetings to ensure sustainability of new initiatives

Key Accountabilities (3/6)

Understand & document  the flow of knowledge in the organization in order to align stakeholders to improve processes

  • Debottleneck the identified issues in co-ordination with the CFT
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement by staying abreast with latest developments

Key Accountabilities (4/6)

Define processes by identifying the KPIs in order to measure the performance of department

  • Identify all activities and shortlist key performance activities  to finalize as key performance indicator (KPIs)
  • Support stake holders and master coach to track KPIs with the help of trackers

Delay to roll out new processes or implement new ideas due to conflict of interest among cross functional stakeholders “ Modify plan of action and conduct multiple discussion with stake holders

  • Manufacturing/ Quality/Supply chain/Portfolio/Legal/BD/- to get inputs for process improvement and debottleneck key areas (need based)

  • Vendor- gifts/ momento/ decoration (need based)
