Job Purpose

To work closely with Chief Portfolio Head and the Portfolio teams of various geographies to analyse competition, understand industry trends and macroeconomic parameters to identify their impact on the business, share insights with the team. The candidate will also collate global portfolio products work on strategic prioritization of the products launches and the launch status. Work on portfolio presentations for the management along with the portfolio heads.

Key Accountabilities (1/6)

Collation of the global portfolio

  • Collate and maintain a consolidated view of the global portfolio across geographies, covering pipeline, filed, approved, and launched products.
  • Maintain structured records of:
  • Regulatory filings and approval status
  • Intellectual Property (IP) details
  • Launch calendars and timelines by geography
  • Coordinate with regional portfolio and project management teams to validate and refresh portfolio data periodically.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and readiness for leadership and governance forums.

Key Accountabilities (2/6)

Analyse key trends and analyse to suggest strategies to build and prioritize the product portfolio 

  • Analyse competitive landscape, industry trends, therapeutic developments, and macroeconomic parameters to assess implications on the portfolio.
  • Evaluate portfolio attractiveness and strategic fit using defined business performance metrics (e.g., revenue potential, lifecycle stage, risk).
  • Support prioritization of products and launches by providing fact-based insights and scenario analyses.
  • Identify portfolio gaps, overlaps, and optimization opportunities across markets.

 

Maintain a full record on filings, IP details and launch calenders of products across geographies

  • Maintain a centralized and up‑to‑date repository of global product filings, IP status, and launch calendars.
  • Track regulatory milestones, IP timelines, and launch dates across geographies in coordination with regional teams.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency through regular validation with stakeholders.
  • Flag risks, delays, or changes impacting filings, IP, or launch timelines to leadership.
  • Provide concise summaries and dashboards for portfolio reviews and decision‑making.

Key Accountabilities (3/6)

Strategic presentations on the portfolio to be made to various stakeholders and management.

  • Develop clear, insight‑driven portfolio presentations for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Synthesize complex portfolio data, analytics, and trends into concise strategic narratives.
  • Tailor content for different forums (leadership reviews, strategy discussions, governance meetings).
  • Support decision‑making by highlighting key insights, risks, trade‑offs, and recommendations.

Provide intelligence and insights through analytics to the portfolio team

  • Analyse portfolio, market, and competitive data to generate actionable insights.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities impacting portfolio decisions.
  • Translate analytics into clear insights and recommendations for the portfolio team.

Track performance of New products across geographies

  • Monitor performance of new product launches across regions against defined KPIs.
  • Analyse variances and identify key drivers of performance.
  • Share insights to support course correction and future launch planning.

Actively participate in strategic planning and budgeting of NIs

  • Provide analytical inputs for strategic planning and NI budgeting cycles.
  • Support prioritization and investment decisions through data‑backed scenarios.
  • Coordinate inputs across geographies to ensure alignment with global portfolio strategy.

Education Qualification

Science /B.Pharm graduation with MBA from a premium institute

Relevant Work Experience

  • High level product and therapy knowledge
