Job Purpose

Design and propose sustainable, robust, cost effective packaging system and aesthetically appealing primary packaging components by understanding barrier requirements for new product formulations which offer product protection throughout their shelf-life and in order to the product in appropriate condition to the ultimate consumer

Accountabilities

I. Analyse Innovator pack characterization and recommend appropriate packaging for new product formulation in order to provide sustainable, robust and cost effective packaging system
II. Propose indent requests for packaging material from approved suppliers for conducting stability at R&D and machine trial at the manufacturing location in time
III. Conduct the machine trial at the manufacturing location as per the set test protocol in order to evaluate packaging suitability, machinability and finish pack performance
IV. Prepare documentation for physical and chemical quality test parameters in order to release the material for exhibit / regulatory batches at the manufacturing location
V. Co-ordinate with PM supplier and regulatory department to arrange technical documentations to facilitate regulatory submission

Education Qualification

Science graduate,Diploma in Packaging technology from Recognized Packaging Institute

Relevant Work Experience

3-4 of experience in packaging material development
