Job Title: Senior Manager – Commercial Pipeline & Manager Products, Institutional

- Support Institutional Strategy for Growth
|
- Explore and evaluate short- and long-term business opportunities in collaboration with Business Development, Portfolio, Commercial and other teams.
- Contribute to identification of new business segments/products and support development of business plans.
- Prepare business cases highlighting risks and opportunities to enable leadership decision-making.
- Work with leadership and cross-functional teams to support asset prioritization.

- Early Pipeline Assessment
|
- Partner with Business Development and Portfolio teams to conduct commercial assessments for pipeline opportunities (Generics/505(b)(2)/Biosimilars/Specialty).
- Act as commercial liaison for licensing/partnering/M&A deals, working closely with BD.
- Support due diligence, asset valuation, and market/competitive analysis in partnership with Analytics and Finance.
- Collaborate with Regulatory, Medical, and Market Access teams to evaluate payer/provider coverage and access implications.
- Provide cross-functional inputs to ensure pipeline opportunities align with commercial objectives.

- Strategic Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
|
- Coordinate with Finance, Portfolio, and Operations teams to support long-term strategic planning.
- Collaborate on preparation of annual business plans, budgets, and launch forecasts.
- Provide commercial insights and analysis to support financial and operational reviews.

- Category Management
|
- Partner with Marketing, Regulatory, and Sales to support lifecycle management for assigned product categories.
- Contribute to defining product vision and category strategy informed by market research and competitor intelligence.
- Ensure strategies comply with internal processes and external regulatory requirements.

- In-Line Product/Portfolio Management
|
- Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, and Contracts to optimize portfolio revenue and profitability.
- Monitor competitor activity and market dynamics; share insights with leadership and relevant teams.
- Provide inputs to customer programs and business initiatives to grow market share.
- Support commercial responses to competitor launches, price changes, or FDA actions.
- Represent the team at industry trade shows and events, sharing insights back with cross-functional colleagues.

- Collaboration & Cross-Functional Engagement
|
- Work in close partnership with Business Development, Portfolio, Sales, Marketing, Contracts, Analytics, Regulatory, Finance and Supply Chain.
- Contribute commercial insights to cross-functional projects, external partnerships, and strategic initiatives.
- Foster collaboration to align on institutional strategy and execution.

Skills & Knowledge
|
Educational qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, or related field is required.
- Advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, or MS in a relevant scientific discipline) preferred.

Relevant experience:
- 10–15 years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical commercial roles, including strategy, portfolio management, business development, or marketing.
- Strong exposure to U.S. Institutional markets, including GPO/IDN dynamics and access models.
- Demonstrated experience in evaluating early-stage assets (Generics, 505(b)(2), Biosimilars, or Specialty).
- Proven track record of building business cases and influencing executive decision-making.
- Hands-on experience in long-range planning, launch forecasting, and cross-functional leadership.
- Experience managing commercial assessments for BD/licensing/M&A projects is highly desirable.

Pay Range: $118k – $188k
