Job Purpose
Responsible for co-ordinating marketing activities with a direct impact on the accounting system, ensuring accuracy and completeness thereof to adhere to the guidelines as set out by the Finance and Procurement Department.
Ensures the smooth and efficient procurement of marketing goods and services for the organization. This position is responsible for processing purchase orders, managing supplier relationships, and maintaining accurate records to support operational efficiency. Maintaining clear communication with vendors and tracking orders meticulously. Helps to ensure that the organization’s marketing procurement function runs smoothly and cost-effectively.
Accountabilities
1. Own PO generation, invoice payment and spend tracking process for the Marketing Department while adhering to a set of financial compliances
2. Procurement compliance and Policy Adherence
Education Qualification
Financial or Accounting Diploma
Relevant Work Experience
2-5 years working experience
Experienced with regard to creditors function (capturing, analysing and preparation of payments).
Experience of working with financial and accounting software such as Pastel, Excel, ABSA, Nedbank etc.
